Privacy policy
Reppublic is a push-up training app that judges your sets with your phone's camera. This page says what we collect, what we do with it, and how you get rid of it. It is written to be read.
The camera
Video from your camera is processed on your phone to find the position of your body. No video or images leave your device. What is sent to our servers is the result of the judging: for each push-up, when it started and ended, the angle of your elbows and torso at the deepest point, and whether it counted. That record is what your score, your ladder position and any replay you choose to share are built from.
What we store
- Account: your email address (for sign-in), a display name, a handle, a country, and optionally a birth year and gender. Birth year and gender are never shown to other users.
- Training: the per-rep record described above, set totals, streaks, levels, plates and badges.
- Social: club membership, posts, comments, reactions, follows, blocks and reports you make.
- Purchases: if you buy a season pass or plates through Google Play, we receive a purchase record from Google Play and our billing provider, RevenueCat. We never see your card.
- Device: basic diagnostics needed to keep the app working, such as app version and crash reports.
What is public
Your display name, handle, country, fighter, level, badges, medals, ranked results and club are visible to other users, because a ladder nobody can inspect is not a ladder. Your email, birth year and gender are not.
Shared links
You can share a set, a badge or a medal as a link at reppublic.app. Anyone with the link can view it, including people without the app. A link shows only what is already public on your profile plus the rep record for that set. Links expire after a period you choose, at most seven days, and you can revoke one at any time from Settings.
Who we share with
Our servers run on Supabase. Payments are handled by Google Play and RevenueCat. Our website is served by Cloudflare. Each of them processes data only to provide the service. We do not sell personal data and we do not run advertising.
Retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your account from Settings in the app, or by using the account deletion page. Deletion removes your profile, training record, posts and purchases record from our systems within 30 days. Aggregate figures that no longer identify you may remain.
Children
Reppublic is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
